• Step 1

  first, measure the circumference of your neck and hight of how high you want the choker to go up.

• Step 2

  then, draw a symmetrical design with the length and width as a guide to size the design.

• Step 3

  take the pleather and carefully make the same design on it with a marker (preferably black)

• Step 4

  cut out the shape on top and bottom, but leave the sides an inch long piece of the fabric in the middle for the jump rings.

• Step 5

  paint the lines of your design red with a small paint brush and let dry. then paint gold dots on the red lines every cm to inch apart and let dry.

• Step 6

  paint any marker spots black or empty spaces and let dry.

• Step 7

  take the lace and spray paint the bottom of the lace trim black. then paint the top part red. let dry

• Step 8

  after everything dries, sew together at the bottom of the pleather or use fabric glue.

• Step 9

  turn the choker over and put the jump rings on the 2 little pieces of pleather at the ends. then glue the the ends to the main choker material onto the back of the pleather. let dry.

• Step 10

  after drying, poke a small hole in the center bottom of the design and use your gold charm and hook it up in the hole.

• Step 11

  take your ribbon and put it through one jump ring, put the choker around your neck. then put the other side of the ribbon through the other ring and tie securely (but not too tight ).

• Step 12

  and you are done!
