• 

  Step 1

  find a compression sleeve at the hardware that fits on the figure that you want to wear it on. a little note: these are very malleable, so please take the ring off when you are working.
  rough it up a bit on the inside using sandpaper or the tip of a pair of scissors. it will help the paint stick.

• 

  Step 2

  paint the inside of the ring. you can hold it with tweezers if you don't want to get your fingers messy.
  let it dry and then add a second coat.

  Step 3

  now rough up the outside of the ring and paint.
  again allow to dry and then paint a second coat.

• 

  Step 4

  you could also add a coat of clear polish to the outside for added strength.
  but that's it. it's ready to wear.
