Re-purpose Hardcover Books
Created by following this Tutorial: http://www.cometogetherkids.com/2011/12/kindle-cover-from-hardcover-book.html

Normally, I wouldn't suggest ruining a book, but I got this for .25 cents at a library sale, and it's not a first edition. The book wasn't quiiiiiiite big enough, but it'll do for now.

Scrap cloth, iron-on skull, and hot-glued rick rack. The book was a bit small, so the pocket ended up not being very usable. Also, some of the hot-glue bled through on parts, but I didn't want to risk the weight of the kindle pulling the fabric away from the cover (I think I went through at least 3 1/2 hot glue sticks.
I also did the elastic corner straps differently than the tutorial listed. Instead of adding them After I glued down everything, I added them Before, so I could get a good anchoring.
Also, before gluing, I hand stitched a running stitch along the seam/hem of the right-side of the pocket to add a bit of strength.

The closure wasn't part of the tutorial. I just hot glued the elastic to the back of the book to have one.
