Step 1knit a square like this.

Step 2make 4 strings on each corner of the square. attach it to the upperside of the cage.

You will have to be careful using wool for a hamster, if hamster chews the material it will get stuck in the digestive tract and cause serious illness or death. I would advice using a sisal or similar safer/natural material. It is very cute though made larger this would be great for a rat/ferret xx
