About
Yeah. I can fly.
Ok. So I know this isn't a usual sort of post, but I decided to show it to you guys anyways. One of the days of our school's spirit week is superhero day. (It's pretty painfully obvious what that calls for... you have to dress up as a superhero.)
I'm not one for capes and tights and ever since I was little I've been obsessed with Iron Man. I wanted to make something subtle but eye catching all at once. So I decided I was going to be Tony Stark.
I basically made this out of some plumbing parts (namely a sink drain basket, a tap filter, and some PVC rings), some hand fabricated metal pieces, and a simple circuit-board set up with some blue LEDs. It took only about two days to make. Though I really finished it in one, my solder joints kept breaking until I finally found out that I needed to really reinforce them and take some pressure off. I think it's cool and I must say I'm really proud of it. I'll get better pictures up when I can.
