About
Getting your favourite video game charecters on jewelry
I cross stitched these little fellows onto linen fabric, attached them to cover buttons and glued them to adjustable ring blanks.
The tiny stitches are a bit tricky but it's definitely worth it :)
The cover buttons' size is about 20 mm in diameter.

You Will Need
-
Step 1
Cross stitch your desired motive on some cross stitch fabric or linen. Be aware of your cover button's size.
You can either cross stitch the background of your motive or you can use coloured cross stitch fabric or linen. -
Step 2
Cut out your motive and attach it to your cover button. Don't forget to remove the button's hook first.
The hardest part is to center your motive on the button :) -
Step 3
Glue your finished button onto a ring blank and you will get some very geeky and unique jewelry.
Thank you for faving my project! It's quite hard for me to explain what a cover button is, but basically it's metallic button that is parted in two pieces and with a certain tool (usually you can find cover button kits with buttons and tool) you are able to attach any fabric to this button. I'm not sure if this was understandable, so I will give you a link, where you can find some cover buttons and get an idea of what they look like
I guess you can find them in almost every shop selling sewing supply (at least in Germany ^^). If you are going to make a version, I would be very happy to see it on cut out + keep
