About
Amigurumi : Frog and Mangosteen
I made for Miyamato sensei and Minako san, my former boss and his wife, as a farewell present. Frog in Japanese is 'kaeru' which homonym with 'kaeru' which means 'Come back'. Japanese has a tradition giving frog to someone who going back to their country to tell them that 'we want you to come back'.
Two frogs represents the couple. I used smallest knitting needle to knit the scarfs.
He loves mangosteen that's why I choose this fruit. I embroidered their names in Japanese letter on the pink crochet label.
