Sorry for the confusion everyone, I originally had a link to the translator website on here, but it didn't show up, due to probably a technical block. And I totally agree, learning a language is way funner than just using a translator, which doesn't always give accurate translations. However, it can be a helpful learning tool
hehe unfortunately this sounds easier than it is. translators often don't really make sense well, i think learning a lanuage is much more fun than just clicking 'translate'! ^^ if i wouldn't think that i couldn't even write this :3
A cute idea, but it's better if you have some knowledge before hand of the language you want to use. Online translators tend to do funny things to what you write. Students have tried using them in french classes I've taken, and the teacher can always tell at a glance. They're better if you're only using it for a word or two like you would a dictionary. However, if who you're writing to doesn't speak the language and they're just going to have to plug it back into the translator in order to understand it it may not really matter- just make sure they use the same translator that you did otherwise they may not get the letter you intended. Overall, a sweet idea. Merci.
learn the language yourself by watching tv.
I learnt myself Spannish that way.
