keeping your shoes on your feet
I got these shoes for a wedding I was in and they didn't like to stay on my heel - they were constantly slapping as I walked. Not a good thing when you're walking down the isle!

  • Step 1

My shoes matched my dress almost exactly, so I used the optional straps that came with it for one strap and made another out of what got hemmed off the bottom of my dress. I did this for another pair of shoes and used some sheer ribbon I found so just as long as you have 2 straps per shoe you're good. They just need to be long enough to strap around your ankle and tie a nice bow.

    Step 2

Take your strap and find a place to attach it. I didn't sew the strap directly to my shoe, but rather to itself when I folded the end around a strap on the shoe. CONFUSING! Just whip it in place. Repeat on other side and again the exact same way on the other shoe.

Once ya have 'em in place tie them on your foot and try them out.

Great idea!!! C'est parfois ennuyeux les lanières de talons aiguilles qui ne tiennent pas.
