This is a very easy tutorial that I came up with to make brooches in any color with your own design.

You Will Need

Step 1Cut a circle from your fabric.And cut a smaller one from the cardboard.

Step 2Draw and embroider your design on the fabric.
On my green brooch I just cut around the pattern of the fabric.
So if you have a piece of fabric with a pattern that you love,this is a great way to turn it into something you can wear.And you dont even need to embroider. -
Step 3Get your needle and thread and stitch along the edge of the circle.Now pull the thread so you get a little sack.

Step 4Stuff it.I used cotton wool.

Step 5Now put the cardboard circle on the top of the cotton wool.

Step 6Pull the thread until its tight enough and glue a safety pin on the back.
Your brooch is done! -
Step 7Wear it on your scarfs or shirts.

Step 8Or add them to your bags to spice them up!
