Listed in the YOU WILL NEED section are the OPTIONAL supplies I used to make this Scoodie. They Are DIFFERENT from the recommended supplies listed in Original pattern, and will change the size of your hoodie- per the Original pattern (it will be smaller).

I used a thinner/less expensive type of Lionbrand yarn than called for in this pattern. I made this to fit my niece (it will be a birthday gift), and I was worried the chunky yarn + this pattern would be far too large.

The thinner yarn + smaller hook size helped to make this pattern more kid-head-size friendly without having to make too many adjustments to the original pattern. The only extra work I had to do was add a few more rows to the "hood" portion to make it fit a head. :)
