    Finish the Leg openings (hems). These are the cutaway sections at the bottom corners of the pattern.

    Mark points B and C on the bottom edge.

    Bring the centre of the bottom edge to point A on the left side. Sew AB to AB.

    Do the same with the right side, sewing AC to AC.

    Press seams AB and AC open.

    Turn in the edges of the opening above A and hem them in place.

    Attach waistband to the top edge of the trousers.

    Finish the ends of the waistband.

    Stitch in the ditch to hold the back of the waistband in place.

    Make buttonholes and attach buttons.
