Let Me Dream! (please)
I needed a sleep mask for an upcoming trip. So, I made two.

  • How to make a sleeping mask. Embroidered Sleep Mask - Step 1
    Step 1

    I cut a top and bottom for each from a pattern I made. (I used scraps of a red velvet-like material and a black t-shirt sleeve to make sure they would be comfy.)

    I embroidered the front of each mask. (One reads "Let Me Dream" in white with a black butterfly, the other has a Gothic-inspired butterfly approx over each other with white and red accents.) This too the longest.

    Front sides together I sewed each front to a back, leaving about an inch or less on each side to leave space to turn as well as for the elastic.

    Trim strings and iron as needed.

    Step 4

    Turn right sides out. Iron as needed.

  • Step 5

    Pin elastic in place and zig zag stitch entire thing. Trim strings. Iron as Needed.
