"Ecstasy" Pill Earrings

• Step 1

  follow the first 3 steps of this project: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/red-and-blue-pills-earrings

  This time I painted them Pink and filled them with glitter.. You can decorate your pill however you want! (:

  Step 2

  Take a little chain (It can be from a broken necklace..) and cut it into 6 pieces: 2 Big ones 2 small ones and 2 medium ones

• 

  Step 3

  Attach 3 to a hook and 3 to another hook with a little metal wire or a little metal ring..

• 

  Step 4

  Make little holes in the pills with a hot needle. Be careful! You have to BARELY touch the pill with the tip of the needle, otherwise it will melt completely.
  Attach the wire to a bead and pass it through the pill.

• 

  Step 5

  Cut little stars and bolts on plastic and paint them black, or if ou have them, use star shaped beads.
  Attach everything to the hook and VOILA you have 2 cute little pill earrings <3

@marianne Not telling your kids a drug exists doesn't protect them from it. I know coke and heroin and all kinds of drugs exist and I don't do them.. And I created them, and I like the word "ecstasy" so I named them that.

@Marianne, This is a site for crafts geared towards adults. It is a parents responsibility to protect their children from sites they don't condone. I personally think they are adorable and the name fits them very well. I do not condone illegal drugs(or most pharmaceuticals), yet somehow I don't think these will make kids want to try the real deal out. If you want the earrings done differently why don't you make your own version and rename them yourself?
BTW the project guidelines only prohibit swearing and nudity.

Not really an appropriate name for a site where children might find themselves. Not really an appropriate name for tenagers either. We should not encourage "illegal drug related accessories our children could copy. "How about "Happy Caps?" "Health dangles?" "For your Health." "For all that ails you." "Poison." "pretty Poison." I am sure you could find a more appropriate name. They are cute. I am a nurse and would wear them if I could wear dangling earrings at work.
