Step 1Hardest part will be finding an old mirror with a frame that will work for this project. The mirror needs to be big enough for your bathroom but also have an area on top to mount the bathroom light fixture.

Step 2Before you work on the mirror, remove the mirror from the frame so it doesn't break or get paint on it.
If painting the mirror's frame, sand, prime, then paint the frame. -
Step 3Once the paint is dry, center the light fixture on the mirror and mark where to drill the holes for the fixture. Drill holes.

Step 4You will need to use longer screws for your fixture now, so place the screws through the wood and then cut down to the proper length.

Step 5Mount light fixture to the mirror frame.

Step 6Before mounting the mirror on the wall, cover up the junction box with a cover. You will need to drill a small hole in the cover to pull the wires through to attach to the light fixture.

Step 7Hang the mirror and connect the wires to the fixture.

Step 8That's it! Now you have a new, unique mirror!
