About
Harness your dragon and take him for a walk.
Sometimes you just want to take him outside and not worry if he wanders off on his own. Now you can! Just put his new harness on and he's ready to go.

Step 8
The leash is knitted using a basic 5 stitch eye cord.
Cast on 5 stitches with a pair of double pointed needles leaving a 12" tail. Don't turn your work as you knit, slid it back to the right and keep knitting. Knit to the length you need. I used 100% wool so I could felt it and make it stronger. I made it 24" longer than it should be. This will allow for shrinkage of the wool and the hand hold.

Step 10
Fold down 8 inches on other end of eye cord and stitch to make a loop where your hand will go.
Throw in washing machine in HOT water with soap and felt. I have a little zippered bag I put my felting projects in. You can do this or just add an old pair of blue jeans. After it's dried your ready to walk your dragon.
I wouldn't leave my poor dragon (if I had a dragon) on the floor- I would just let him sit on my shoulder, like a little parrot!
Now THAT'S sure to get people looking at you!!
Don't you just love dragons, rats, and snakes? (how would you put a harness on a snake?..)
Its so cool.
