• 

  Step 1

  First, find some old candles. I already had some pink ones that I never would have used anyway. 5 candles worked perfect for one small jar.

  Step 2

  Break up the candles into pieces. Try not to break the candle wicks, they can be useful later on.

  Put the candle pieces in the big jar.

• 

  Step 4

  Take the smaller jar and use the blue tack to fasten one of the candle wicks to the bottom. Try to put it right in the middle.

  Step 5

  Then use the flower stick to hold the wick straight. I also used some blue tack to fasten the stick to the jar, just to keep it in place.

  Step 6

  Then you can melt the old candle pieces. They should not be put directly into the water, but put the jar in a saucepan with water heated up to 85 celsius degrees. And then you just wait for about half an hour for it all to melt.

  Step 7

  When it's all melted, just pour it into the small jar with the candle wick. And yet again: wait for it to harden.

  Step 8

  Take the scented oil of your choice, and pour some drops into the candle before it's starting to harden.

• 

  Step 9

  The candle is finished! Decorate your jar to make it personal. What about giving a hint of what scented oil you have used? Be creative!
