• 

  Step 1

  Here are the supplies I used for this DIY. You'll need to create a design for the doormat, mine is the word 'Hey' but it could be as simple as a star or heart shape. Whatever takes your fancy!

• 

  Step 2

  Transfer the design onto a piece of card, cut to the same size as the doormat.

• 

  Step 3

  Cut out the design using a sharp Stanley knife.

• 

  Step 4

  Once the design has been cut out, place the cardboard onto the doormat. Holding the cardboard firmly into place, apply an even layer of fabric spray paint.

• 

  Step 5

  Remove the cardboard, allow to dry and you're done! Enjoy your nice new personalised doormat!
