Step 1
Make a petal
Cut out five round pieces from floral cloth with diameter of 5cm. take one piece and fold in half twice to shape a sector. Running stitch the arc edge and pull the thread tightly to make a petal as the picture shows.
Step 2
Make a flower
Do the same with another four pieces of cloths and thread them to make a semi-circular flower. Knot the thread and sew an applique in the center. Cut a strip of lace trim which is a little longer than headband and glue it to cover the headband with double-sided tape.
Step 3
Wrap both ends of headband
Sew both sides of lace trim to wrap the headband with fishing thread for good looking. If you don't have fishing thread, you can use sewing thread in similar color to replace. Cut out two short strips of ribbon and seal the ends with lighter. Wind ribbon strips to wrap both ends of headband and secure with glue. Attach the fabric flower to the middle of the headband. You can also choose to add a button instead of applique to make the other style.
