Crocheted Golden Snitch!

These are only a few of the snitches I made for the Harry Potter 7 Part 1 Midnight showing. Some were made with a very course, very gold yarn that I tripled up to give the thickness necessary, although it became nearly unbearable to keep the tautness (it felt like sandpaper going over a rug burn eventually). I had to switch to a softer, less color saturated yarn in order to continue making them. Even after hurting my index finger, I feel that the color of the courser yarn gave better results than the softer yarn. In the end, I made 21 snitches, 7 in the course yarn, 14 in the soft yarn.
