Bend three pieces of wire approximately 25cm (9¾in) long in the middle and twist each one separately.
Wind a length of yarn B around one of the pieces of wire from the top down.
Place a flower 1 1cm (³∕8in) from the top. Place a flower 2 1.5cm (½in) further down.
When you have wound the yarn a total of 5cm (2in) down the wire, push the yarn and wire through the middle of the umbel. Wind a little further on the other side of the umbel before fastening off. Pull the stem up over the wire from below until the stem meets the underside of the umbel and sew it in place. When all the stems have been attached under the umbels, stick the ends of the wires into the soil base. Attach all the stems on the fourth round of the soil base with about 8 sts in between. Sew the stems in place on the soil base.
