Cowl
I have designed this cosy shrug as part of the Wool Week 2012 Celebrations. It can be worn in number of ways. The British Sheep Breed yarn makes it wonderfully warm. Perfect to keep you nice and warm during cold winter. Enjoy xx

The completed cowl measures approximate 37cm (14.5in) in height and 50cm (60cm) (19.5, 23.5in) in width.Tension
13 sts x18 rows to 10cm (4in) square measured over stocking stitch using 6.5mm (US10 ½, UK 3) knitting needles. -

Abbreviations
C10B - slip next 5 sts onto cable needle and leave at the back of work, K5, then K5 from cable needle
C10F - slip next 5 sts onto cable needle and leave at the front of work, K5, then K5 from cable needle
K – knit
P – purl
WS – wrong side -
Step 4
Using 6.5mm (US10 ½, UK 3) needles cast on 73 sts.
Row 1 (WS) and every alt row: Purl
Row 2 & 4: P7, K15, P7, K15, P7, K15, P7

These 12 rows form the pattern
Continue in Pattern until work measures 100cm (120cm) (39, 47in)ending with row 1 of pattern.
Cast off.
