I used a blanket stitch to cover this little tape measure. Pushing the heart retracts the tape.

this is a great idea! my son works for home depot and gave me a handful of these (that say 'home depot' of course!) and i keep them around places i will need them, being a professional seamstress. this will make them a lot cuter!
