Hearts all round
To start off with, lay material with right sides facing pin together.Sew together with a 1/4" in seam,,overlock or zigzag edges, leaving top open for wading to be put in turn inside out so right side is facing, then slip wading inside, making sure its neat at ends and corners, pin into place, with the top opening fold material neatly under and then with a straight stitch, stitch all the way round the quilt. Cut the designs you want to put onto front of quilt, with the squares made of triangles, I cut 4 triangles of different colours and sewing them together,I also used long pieces of material, these can be sewn with a hem before you place them as borders, from each square at corners, then pin and sew around all designs, I used very close and wide zigzag. With the hearts I used small, medium and large and placed them overlapping and singles. Once happy with where they were placed, and pinned I started sewing with wide and close zigzag,I made sure the pins went through to back of quilt, so when I sewed it, I ended up with a reversible quilt.
