About
My Awesome Corset Vest For Work
I made this vest from a Burda pattern. [BURDA YOUNG FASHION 7876] Was pretty easy. Its fully lined. You cant see the back from the photos, cuz.. i cant take a photo of my back, lol.. but the straps cross at the back and attach similar to the front with buttons, also theres about 4 inches of elastic sewn into the fabric on the straps at the back.... I love this corset vest, it fits really well and i ddnt need an overlocker! (which is good cuz i cant afford one ;( ) Anyway, Everything was bought from Spotlight except the main grey fabric which i actually found at an op shop (thanks vinnies)
Enjoy xoxo

Yes im sure you could do that. i just didnt want to have the straps falling down all the time so i crossed them at the back.

Although I was wondering if you think it could be possible for the straps at the back to NOT meet in the middle so they look the same at the back as they do at the front?
I love the contrast of your white shirt with your grey corset vest!!
im sure if you had the same pattern you could just make it higher. or use a corset pattern but button the front instead of lacing it?
Heres a link to the pattern
