• 

  Step 1

  Gather all your supplies and make sure you have everything you will need :D
  *colored pencils
  *masking tape
  *knife or hand saw
  *electric drill
  *1/16 inch bit
  *nail file (medium)
  *beads
  *clear stretchy string

  Step 2

  Arrange your pencils in the design you want, I did mine in a rainbow!

  Then tape them together with the masking tape. Leave a tiny space in between the rows, where you cut the pencils.

  I didn't use my black or brown pencils, so that when I strung them together on the braclet it would look like a continuous rainbow.

  Step 3

  Use your cutting board! And cut your pencils into sets.

  Then while they are still taped together drill two holes in each pencil. The masking tape will help keep them straight and it also helps you drill them all in about the same place.

  Its ok if one or two break or they have off centered holes, just set those aside. You wont need every one to make a bracelet.

  Step 4

  Unwrap the pencils and file off any rough edges left from the cutting.

  They might have gotten a little dusty while you were cutting through them, lol so go ahead and wipe them down now too.

  Step 5

  Take two sets of pencils, beads and two lenghts of stretchy string and start threadding your bracelet.

  When you get all of them on the string, hold it up to your wrist and make sure it isnt going to fall off, you'll want it a little loose so it will fit over your hand.

  Tie both ends of each string together. Add a few extra knots just to be safe. :D

  Step 6

  This is what I made! I even still have some pencils leftover.

  So you can see that you will be able to make a lot of things with one package of pencils.

  *Stretchy Bracelet!
  *Wire Wrapped Earrings!
  *Wire Wrapped Necklace!
  *Extra Wire Wrapped Charm for a second necklace!

@Tasha For the necklace I just made each pencil point into a wire wrapped link with a small white bead on each side. And then connected them to a chain I already gave away the jewelry and I really dont want to make more, lol I dont have a saw so it took me for.ev.er to cut them up!

If you need tips with wire wrapping let me know

I made one i used a power saw though and it was a bit too big so the edges kind of broke but i like how it looks that way
