Turn an old chocolate box into a cute marquee light!

    For this light, you'll need a metal chocolate box. You can usually find these going cheap after Valentine's day, like I did with mine.

    Remove the lid and start by painting the bottom of the chocolate box with chalkboard paint.

    Allow to dry before adding a second coat.

    Once dry, turn the chocolate box over and mark out where you'd like each of your LED lights to go.

    Use an awl to punch a hole through the metal for each of the lights. Start small and then make the hole wider and wider with a screwdriver until the lights fit snuggly.

    Place the lights into each of the holes and tie the wire neatly at the back of the box before popping the chocolate box's lid back into place.

    Finally, use chalk to write a little note or quote on the front of your light.
