Deliciously indulgent cherry + almond chocolate muffins.
These are dead tasty and the grease-proof paper packaging is stylish and handy for carrying them around. These are maybe not the best treats if you are on a diet though.

    Start sieving the flour in to a bowl.

    Add the salt and the baking powder.

    Add the sugar and sieve the remainder of the sieve through.

    Mix in the chocolate flakes.

    Mix in the almonds.

    Mix in the cherries.

    Whisk an egg in a seperate bowl.

    Melt the butter and add along with the milk and a shot of ameretto.

    Mix the wet mixture in to the dry mixture.

    Step 10

    Cut squares of grease-proof paper. Hold the paper in your hand and place 4 tbsp of mixture in to the palm. Fold up the edges and tie with a piece of string. Pop the parcels on to a baking tray and cook in an oven at 400° for 25 minutes. After 10 minutes remove the strings from the parcels and allow them to fall open before continuing to cook.
