Keep your money safe with a cute little cash note wallet that will fit in your pocket perfectly.
Someone suggested using Monopoly money for this which I think is a great idea.

  • How to make a paper wallet. Cash Note Wallet - Step 1
    Step 1

    Print out a picture that's slightly bigger that your cash notes. I photocopied a 20 pound note, scaled it bigger and then printed it out, but you can use any picture you like.

    Cut out two rectangles of clear vinyl that are slightly bigger than your picture

    Step 3

    Cut out another rectangle that is wider, but shorter than the other rectangles. Cut out another rectangle that is half the width of the first and much shorter. Pin the short rectangle to the bottom on the right hand side of the bigger rectangle.

    Sew down the middle side of the short rectangle.

    Place the picture in between the two larger rectangles and then pin the smaller rectangles on top.

    Step 6

    Sew right around the area of the photo so that all the rectangles are secured together.

    Cut off the excess vinyl and then it's ready to fill with money.

I love making vinyl wallets & mirror compacts! I use the vinyl packaging that bedding comes in, so this project pratically costs nothing to make Happy

Interesting point from Peter: "copying money is often considered ILLEGAL conterfiting even if the copy is bad and you dont intend to try an pass the copy off as real."

I was actually just going to say I have a clear vinyl wallet myself! I bought it in a cute local artist store in Seattle, WA. It was really well made, and has lasted!
You can use any picture you desire! That might be the best part about vinyl wallets. Thanks for the design, now I can make myself a new one!
