Make a Victorian inspired cascading chain cameo necklace!

    Step 1

    Before I began, I sketched out how I wanted the necklace to look on a piece of paper with the swooping chains and laid the cameos on top.

    I then cut the chain to the correct lengths to match my drawing and began connecting them with jump rings. The shortest length went at the top, with a slightly longer length below, connected to the middle of the first chain to create a collar shape. I then dangled the longest length down at the bottom.

    I then attached a large cameo pendant to the middle of the first chain and cut two small lengths of chain which I attached to the bottom of the pendant and connected to the sides of the longest length of chain, attaching a small pendant at either side.

    Attach another large pendant at the bottom of the necklace.

    Attach two more smaller pendants along the top chain, inside the collar shapes.

    Glue the cameos onto the pendant bases. Attach to a necklace chain at either side and it's ready to wear!
