keep a tea cosy, one cable at a time
This is a great introduction to the wonderful world of cables.
If you're daunted by the cables you can leave out row 5 and repeat row 1 instead.
OR skip the pattern all together and create a garter stitch cosy.

If you're completely new to cables I recommend checking out my How To Cable Without A Cable Needle tutorials.

Place the two pieces together making sure both cable sides are facing each other.
Sew the tops together and then bottoms together leaving a big gap in the middle for the handle and the spout.
You should have some yarn from the cast on edges that you can use to sew the pieces together.
