You Will Need

Step 1I used three different colors of thread, with four strands of each. Separating each color, I made three separate bands using a basic candy stripe pattern.

Step 2After reaching a good enough length (about an inch longer than my wrist size), I braided the three bands.

Step 3I then split the strands into two groups, two of each strand color per group. To hold the groups in place, I made three spiral (chinese) staircase knots around each group. Braiding the remainder of the thread to finish the bracelet off.
