You Will Need

Step 1Heat oven 220 degrees.
Whisk the sugar & eggs together until light, pale & fluffy.

Step 2Sift the flour & cocoa together twice before folding into the eggs.

Step 3Pour into a tin.
Bake for 8-10 mins.

Step 4Sprinkle baking paper with sugar.
Remove from the pan & wrap in baking paper & a clean towel.
Allow to cool completely.

Step 5Whip the cream & sugar together.
Unwrap & cover the inside of the roll with cream.

Step 6Sprinkle some cherries over the cream.

Step 7Roll up.

Step 8Cut & serve.
