This is easy to make. It's best eaten just after making.
Heat oven 220 degrees. Whisk the sugar & eggs together until light, pale & fluffy.
Sift the flour & cocoa together twice before folding into the eggs.
Pour into a tin. Bake for 8-10 mins.
Sprinkle baking paper with sugar. Remove from the pan & wrap in baking paper & a clean towel. Allow to cool completely.
Whip the cream & sugar together. Unwrap & cover the inside of the roll with cream.
Sprinkle some cherries over the cream.
Roll up.
Cut & serve.
