Birth Notice Clock

Something a little different to celebrate the birth of my friend's son
using 4 Beatrix Potter Characters from Jeanne Bowers designs

arranged them in the positioning I wanted & then stitched (the easy part - for me)

After preparing the stitching for the frame I bought a cheap clock & took the mechanism apart, drilled a hole in the back of the frame. There was some wiggling around to put the clock mechanism through the cross stitch & get it all in place, but I got there in the end and made my friends pretty happy.
