Big Fat Shirt, Cute Skirt! Reconstruction.

My reconstruction of a shirt that was just NOT working.
Yes, I am a big girl. (And, I've been too embarrassed to have my Lovely Man take pictures for me yet.) But I do not like making it worse than it is! This shirt is like "YIKES"! But I am a thrift store shopper and I loved the sweetheart neckline and the pattern.

So, project #1 was to use that bright beautiful fabric and make a simple elastic band skirt. On a whim, I turned it upside down putting the hem at the waistline.

Project #2 will involve using that great neckline for a new shirt!
