  • How to make a bottle cap earring. Beer Cap Earrings - Step 1
    Step 1

    First you need to get a hold of two botte caps, preferably the same kind. If they are a bit bashed up, bash them in to shape with a hammer. Make a small hole in the top, center of each cap with a stanley knife.

    Step 2

    Slip jump rings through the holes on the caps.

    Step 3

    Cut two short lengths of chain and slip the chains on to the jump rings.

    Step 4

    Attach another jump ring on to the top of each chain and add an earring hook. Close the hoop and run off to the pub to show your friends.

i used to have a pair of spitfire ones,they were my favourites and then i lost one,gonna make some more.im glad my house mates drink so much and dont clean up because i have hundreds of nabbed bottle caps.thanks boys =)

Happy another one of my favs to make lol. Great minds think alike. I made these with bottle caps with hello kitty, pirates, and care bears... but I think I like your bottle caps more! Never thought of the chain length before. Keep up the amazing work!!

I've found that you can also make holes in the caps using a box cutter. Just angle it and turn it in circles like a drill, and it'll cut right through in about 30 seconds!
