Beautiful Big Button Earrings

Big, bold, bouncy, buttons!!
My sewing machine is being temperamental again and therefore I had nothing else to do but make jewlery. I have tons of buttons and I've been giving them away because I never have any idea what to do with them.

My grandmother gave me some clear buttons and I thought, "These would make some cool dangly earrings," and it took me forever (really just an hour) to figure out how to conntect the buttons and whether the clear was enough or whether I needed to add some color somehow.

I think I could make lots of earrings like this in different colors, but I'm not so sure anyone would wear them. These really are long, though, 3 or so inches long. And they make an awesome noise when the buttons smack into one another. =)

I was thinking I'd make a how-to for this. What do you guys think?
