Step 1
I used jigsaw to cut wood to 15cm x 15cm. Cut a piece of ply for base making sure this covers bottom out line, paint this also, this will be tacked on when the box is dry from 2 coats of paint. Also 4 20cm lengths (these will be used as the legs and borders) Drilled holes in top and bottom bout 2cm from top and bottom so I could thread wire into the wood to make the box. Before I wired the box I painted each piece, 2 coats. Waited for first coat to dry then put second on. While this was drying

Step 2
I started making the flower arrangement, for the stem I used thin wood rod cut to 15cm long, wrapped ribbon around it,I also added ribbon to decorate under the foam ball, stuck with hot glue, then made a hole in foam ball to put rod in using hot glue gun to hold in place.

Step 3
Then I start the flower arrangement, I used clay frangapani shapes, glued them onto the foam ball.In between spaces I made thin wire, crystal decorations using (Jewellry wire), crimp beads and crystal beads,I used a darning needle to make hole in foam ball, a dab of hot glue and pushed the wire in.

Step 4
Back to the planter box, I threaded wire a stronger wire but easy to thread through holes, thread in and out of the holes. This will make you 4 sides. When together you can tack base on and then put the legs on using nail tacks to secure them. When that was done I coated the box with clear varnish. Leave to dry, probably a couple of hours or over night.

Step 5
Now that the box is dry, cut a foam brick to fit inside box. I found some fake grass laying around the house so used that to cover foam brick, cutting a hole for flower stem to go in,dropped a dab of hot glue in hole place stem inside.

Step 6
The legs I used metal photo corners to finish it off. I opened one of the metal corners to fit over the legs and tacked them into place. I played around with the beads a bit to make them sit the way I liked them. To add a bit of colour I brought 2 Magnet Butterflies and using some wire, wrapped with florist tape and placed them in around flower display, bent wire a little and glued into place, then added magnet butterflies on to stems.
