Easy and fun origami earrings
I love simple jewelry that anyone can make with materials you already have. All you need for this project is cardstock paper, some acrylic or watercolors, and basic jewelry supplies.

    Decorate you paper using acrylic or watercolor paint. Use loose brushstrokes, make marks, have fun.

    Punch circles using 1" hole puncher. You will need 5 per earring or 10 per pair.

    Fold them in half.

    Using glue stick glue the sides together. Be sure to glue the sides that do not have your beautiful marks you made with the acrylic paint.

    Let them dry.

    Cut about 4-5" wire and add a bead and a crimp bead. Then feed the other end of your wire through the crimp bead to make a loop. You will have one long end of the wire and one short end and your bead will be in a loop. Crimp the crimp bead to secure the wire.

    Feed your wire through the center of your paper bauble. Then add a crimp bead, a bead and ear wire.

    Loop your wire through the bead and the crimp bead and pull until the loop is small. Then crimp your crimp bead using needlenose pliers.

    Cut any excess wire. Repeat all the steps with your second bubble to make a pair.
