i originally had a cork bottle, and even though it was sealed, the bottle had a leaking problem. I don't know how, but the liquid inside the bottle found its way through the cork. I guess I'll just try a different, more condensed cork or a perfume bottle like danny said
You can also use little perfume tester bottles, they're cheap and they work pretty well its what i used on my version as i couldn't find a bottle like the one on this in my house .. i'll upload pics of my version later
Eeep! I can't keep up with all this attention! >.<
So I think the bottles I used are the same as these. They look the same and the measurements are about right, but I can't be entirely sure since I bought mine locally. Anywho...2 places that sell them:
What do you think, will it be okay with this - http://i39.tinypic.com/552wc4.jpg bottle? It has rectangle's form and it's little bit smaller than your's. I want to make my own necklace, but I don't have anything else like this dad's chanel bottle.
I just made one, and the cork fell off and the red food coloring water spilt allllllll over my carpet. I think I didn't put enough glue. EH. I'll try again =
@Tina: I found them by chance at Michaels craft store, but they come with an ugly clear rubber stopper. I switched the stopper for a cute little cork I had in a bag of assorted corks from the same store.
i am totally making 1!
It's so beautiful but I don't have any
