A Foot Pillow For My Dad

Lay your feet all over me - I'm as cosy as can be!
In front of our TV, we have a sofa made for three people to sit in. When my dad watch TV, he always lies down and takes the middle cushion that's supposed to be for your back and put his feet on it. I don't like when he does it because he never puts the cushion back. So to solve this problem, I made him his very own foot pillow for Christmas. Yay!

It's made out of an old curtain that I saved from my aunt who was going to burn it. She was moving and needed to get rid of stuff. I don't know why she just wouldn't give it to charity, but now it's a pillowcase so it doesn't matter. The zipper is an old zipper that we had laying around, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Practice makes perfect. The pillow inside I bought at second hand for 5 SEK. I painted my feet (after I washed them) with fabric paint and stepped on the pillow case. I had to fill in the shapes to make it look pretty.

The pillow got a great reception from everyone, including Muffins, one of our cats.
