POP UP GREETING
This is made by making your base card, they style and size you want out of a darker color paper. Then make an inside card of white paper the same size. Make sure you crease the inside card really good.

Then with your ruler and pencil lightly draw large block letters for you greeting. Your letters will need o be the same thickness, or it wont work well. Start your letters below the crease line so that the upper line of the "L's" leg will be right on the crease. For example- If your letters will all be 1 centimeter wide, start youre block letters 1 centimeter below the crease of the card!

Next cut around the left and right sides of your letters. NOT THE TOP OR BOTTOM!! Also extend you cut up past the top of your letters by the same measurement of the width, So to go along with our other example, extend the top of the "L" 1 centimeter. Just dont cut along the tops! With the "E" you want to cut around the three legs that stick out from the right, but again not the very top line.

The next part is just making it fold correctly. Temporarily place the two cards together and line them up, then slowly fold it over closed, like it would in an envelope. You need to watch it carefully and help it along where it starts to naturally crease. When you can open and close it a fes times without any problems, glue it all together and decorate the outside!

Phrases that I have found to work best for the POP UP greeting are
* LOVE
* I (heart) U
* MY GIRL
* KISS ME
pretty much anything small enough to fit on a candy heart

If you have Q's please let me know. I was going to do a tutorial but for got to take pics the whole way through!
