New swaps!

I believe people are interested in doing an Alice in Wonderland swap, right?

Well I'm not entirely sure what people want on it- a long time scale? lots of items? just a couple?

I'm happy to organise the swap, but personally I won't be involved because I recently did an Alice in Wonderland item for Shivi, and to be honest I don't know enough about Alice in Wonderland really. The disney version made me feel queasy when I was a kid, as she was going down the rabbit hole, and I haven't had enough time to read the book yet. Aaaanyway!

So if you guys want to say what you want then I'll sort something out, but for now I'm going to introduce another swap that'll happen after Alice in Wonderland:

Wists Swap!
Do you guys know about wists? It's an online wishlist, where you see something you like, then you just click on a button on your toolbar and it'll get added to your wists.

So I say we all set up a wists account, and over the coming few months or whatever, whilst the Alice in Wonderland swap is happening, we build up our wists, and then we'll partner up with someone who'll craft us something based on our wishlists?

For example, my partner might see my list: http://wists.com/mylittlestitches and make me a little 'Hello!' brooch just like the one I've got there.

So, everyone sign up to wists now, and then in a month you can choose whether you want to be in the swap or not.

wow i never heard of the wists swaps, that sounds awesome. I on the other hand dont know much about Alice in Wonderland or should I say confident enough to do so. But I will diffently be interested in the next swap after AIW. Happy Thanks Roma

A wist swap is a great idea i def. be interested in that, i mite want to do an alice swap but swaps r expensive so i want to limit myself to just a few, oh and i love that ruffled caplet on your wist, it's adorable!

I'm up for the wist list swap completely. I too don't know enough about Alice in Wonderland to do a swap item around it sadly. I'm off to set up a wists list now though. Sounds like a great idea and great fun. Happy

Did I say the right thing for toolbar? I don't trust myself.

I'm using firefox mozilla, and it's the bookmarks tool bar at the top, beneath the URL box.

Yah! The wists thing sounds pretty awesome! I'm not so sure on my end about the Alice in Wonderland though - i don't think i know enough about that story to participate. Tongue All I know is what i've seen in the Disney movie. Now there's an idea. Disney Swap! Woo!! Tongue
