'PIF' Stash Swapping...
Hello to all my fellow crafters! I have a proposition, I hope that it will catch on. (I'm sorry if there's something like this already going on, but I looked back quite a few pages and didn't see anything...)
I do a lot of swaps on ATCsforall.com, and there's a really neat thread there for PIF stash swaps. (PIF = Pay It Forward) General idea is: I will post first, and the person to post a reply will inbox me their address & get an envelope from me full of stash scraps and goodies, and then that person will send an envelope to the person who replies 3rd, and so on.
It's up to you how much you send to your recipient, but I think to make it fair, it should at LEAST be a nicely-filled legal size envelope (4 1/8" x 9 1/2" in the US, and I suppose A-8 or so elsewhere? I'm not too knowledgeable on those envelope sizes.)
When you post a reply, be sure to post what kinds of things you'd like (scrapbook papers, book pages, handmade papers, stickers, collage bits, embellishments, fabric bits, fibers, found items, etc. or anything in particular you're interested in like certain animals, colors, etc.) and whether or not you're willing to ship internationally - then send your mailing address to the person above you so they can get your goodies sent out
I hope this works out, I have so many papers and interesting bits of things strewn about. I love to share, and I'll be cleaning out my stash at the same time... which means more room for collecting more supplies, haha.
Oh! One last note - I'll take responsibility for anyone who doesn't receive their envelope. If your goodies don't show up within a reasonable time after someone says they're sending them, just drop me a message and I'll put something together so no one is left out.
Now, to get started. Who's first to get an envelope from me? I don't have a problem shipping internationally, but won't be able to mail it until the 24th.
This sounds cool I'll join in!
I do all sorts of crafts, sewing, crochet, polymer clay & fimo, jewelry making, cards, plushies. I love cool embellishments and random beads, like buttons, ribbon, yarn, zippers.
I'm easy to please because I can almost always find a great use for something!
Happy to ship internationally to the next person, but I mail out on the 1st and 15th of each month. So which ever date is next (after someone sends me their mailing address), that's when I'll mail out.
I like the sound of this!
I love scrapbooking, papercrafts and anything that can be used as embellishments e.g ribbons, fibres, brads, buttons, stickers etc...any type of stash is great for me.
I am going away for 5 days from today so for the next person I will be mailing out when I get back
I am happy to ship internationally
Uh, me!
I like every single paper craft there is on Earth, and I LOVE embellishments, buttons, stickers, scrapbooking supplies etc. etc. I'm pretty easy to please too, so feel free to send anything you like.
I'm very happy to ship internationally ^___^
Alright, if I got it right now I should inbox my address to Tamara and send out to the next person who replies, is that right?
I received from Lola Ebola a while ago, but keep forgetting to post because of all the error messages coming from the site, lol.
She sent me a bunch of fun paper bits, some ribbon and embellishments and just a great variety of little bits and bobs. There were also a few foreign stamps that were awesome looking!
