I'm a little confused about the Matchbox inchies swap Debs but it sounds interesting :]

@Cassie, matchboxes and inchies are both quite tiny and quick easy swaps. if you want to learn a little more about matchbox swaps.. look up the 2 matchbox swaps we had on here and you'll get a pretty good idea. There was also a couple inchie swaps on here that you could check out and I know there are some great inchies published on this site that you could search!

I also want there to be a round 1 of the Chunky Book Swap, but since that swap JUST happened.. I was thinking we could do a Chunky ATC Swap!! I just like the idea of chunky decorated paper Happy lol

I was wondering if there are any fellow NanoWriMo writers here. I was thinking of sponsering a Nano swap if there were enough writers interested OR if there was only one or two other people interested in a Nano swap we could swap with each other. The send out date would be October 15th. I know all Nanos have to get as much done before Halloween as possible. I was thinking the swap would include literary inspirations such as:

*a word bag/envelope: pick one when you are at a loss for words,

*sticky notes/index cards: for writing plot lines when you aren't at your computer,

*a dotee doll of an author or literary character...sort of like a voodoo doll for writers (could you look Jane Eyre in the eye and tell her you can't finish your book?)

*book plates

*unique pens...because you will be signing books someday (even if it is for your bff : )

I think the ideas could be endless....

I love Nano, but I am definitely out of commission for the month of November. So having little Nano gifts around would be very comforting till I can get back in the swing of 3D crafting. If you don't know what NanoWriMo is, here is a link. If you never thought you could write a book, let alone write a book in a month...Trust me you can!!!

If you are signed up for Nano, friend me. I am Corvina over there. I would love to hear from you and love to talk about your book.

Corvus, I'd never heard of that before but after doing some research I have concluded that it sounds great!
What a fantastic idea! Told the young'uns about it and The Boy is intrigued by the Young Writers version. The Teen (who is constantly scribbling her tales in various notebooks) told me she doesn't have time, its a busy year at school. Of course, there was no convincing her that it's no different to the writing she does normally.....
After all, as EVERYONE knows, teenagers are ALWAYS right...lol

@ Cassie that article was funny. I love the Ugly on Purpose idea.
I put the idea of a Nano craft swap in the Literature section. Maybe there will be more takers.

@Bindii I hope you son writes a book! That would be wonderful.

I love Steampunk and pretty much all of Kasia's ideas.

Kasia, a scrapping swap would be cool. Especially since I clearly don't have enough stash.... [furiously tries to hide ceiling-high pile of storage boxes]
Steampunk theme works for me too.
