Harry Potter Swap?

Heyy, swap buddies! I JUUUST missed the Halloween 2010 swap, and I loved Jeanette's idea of a Harry Potter swap. Halloween and the release of the first Harry Potter 7 movie are coming up, so who is interested??? :-D

Some basic ground rules:

*Must have completed at least one swap successfully (this initial swap must be "completed," not "in progress").
*You must have 3 or more projects posted in your profile.
*Please keep in contact with your swap buddy--half the fun of swapping is making a new friend!
*If your swap buddy feels that you have "gone MIA," and cannot successfully contact you, they are to contact me. If we cannot locate you within a week, you risk being kicked out of the swap, and your swapping buddy will be paired with someone else.

I hope I'm not being too strict... I just think that the worst thing in the world would be getting flaked on during a fantastic Harry Potter swap! I promise, though, that I am a nice person, and you don't have to be scared of joining my swappie! :-P

I am willing to post outside of Israel, but would prefer to keep it inside the European/Asian continents. ;)

I am a Gryffindor! (If anyone needs help being sorted, lmk and I will hook you up with a >GOOD< sorting hat quiz)

Since it's close to Halloween, I would love Halloween or Christmas-related HP items. I prefer items that look like they would be at home in the books to fan items, but fan items can be fun, too. Happy

I'm not a fan of "Kawaii" in general--also not a fan of horror-related thingies. I'm a realist, I suppose--not too cutesie and not too gory. Happy

I love anything that can be construed as canon! My fave candy is Bertie Botts, and I would love to explore the potion/ingredient and fortune telling shops in Diagon Alley.

I also... kind of am jealous of Ginny Weasely. xD She has red hair, and I don't. :-D

Aww, that is soo sad! I hate it when ppl can't join swaps solely for monetary reasons. Happy I sowwee, Michelle.

Jeanette, are you interested in a "decent" one with more than 3 questions (fave color, animal, and hp character), or like, a seriously in-depth personality analysis with a bunch of questions (that i took because im absolutely obsessive....)?

Let me know and I'll put the link up. Perhaps it's for the best, anyway, that there is a link, for future unhoused Hogwartsians. ;)

Okay! I'll work on finding that now. I loved taking it; it seemed more like what the Sorting Hat would take into account.

Michelle--hoorayy that you are doing it! I can try and get you someone stateside, if possible. Happy

I'm pretty open to a send-out date; what does everyone else think? I want to give us all enough time, but still send out soon enough to get things in time for Halloween. Does everyone think that October 10 would be a good send-out date, or should we do it a bit sooner to ensure that we ALL get our items in time for Halloween? I only ask because international shipping can be such a bore. :-P

I'm waiting to see if anyone else is interested in joining--to be honest, I thought more people would be interested, considering it's close to Halloween and the 7A (lol) movie. Maybe I'll go scout some more people out, if that's allowed. :-P

Also, I didn't think about it being a Sunday--Sunday is a business day over here, so I guess I kind of forgot! Sorry! We can make the send-out date the 11th. Happy

Anyway, we are looking for at least one more person so we can have an even number. :-P Feel free to scout some people! I have someone in mind, so I hope she is interested/able.

Also, if you want or know someone who would like to join but doesn't meet requirements for whatever reason, let me know and we will see if something can be sorted out (can be vouched for, has swapped/been active on other craft sites, etc).
