There was only four of us signed up in the first place, you could probably start a new round if Cloudgurl doesn't come back though. Actually, I think there was another felt food swap that kicked off a bit better. There might be another round of that at some point!

@Dessah ~ To be honest, I was kind of hoping that at the start because I know you have a little boy (not stalking, just notice him in your avatar picture thing and you've mentioned him in other board posts) and would have loved to of made some food plushies for him but I was happy with Cloudgurl (don't want to offend her), unfortunately it's just not turning out too well lol. Maybe in the future!

Please come back Cloudgurl, pleeeease

Zina made him a doughnut as a surprise in our last swap. It was really nice. Maybe I'll start another felt food swap. It's my favorite thing to make right now. If I do start the thread...I may be sneaky and pretend that I pair myself with you by accident. lol

I've just got a few other things to finish first.

Is anyone allowed to host a swap? Or are there specific requirements someone needs in order to host one? Sorry, I'm relatively new, and if anyone is allowed to host a swap, I'd love to host one eventually!

Of course you can host a swap! It's best though to have participated and completed one first though. It will give you a better idea of how to run it.

Basically, what you do is come up with a theme and start the thread. In your post you should make sure the rules of the swap are quite clear.

Swap theme (if any)
Number and Size of items to be made
Do participants have to have at least 1 swap under their belts? (This is becoming a popular rule)

Sign up end date:
Partner Pair up date:
Send out date:

Then ask that people fill out this survey:
CO+K Name:
Location:
Willing to ship internationally?:

Then at the end of the sign ups, pair people according to their shipping preference. If you have an odd number of people you pair 3 of them in this manner:

A ships to B
B ships to C
C ships to A

Thank you Dessah, that's extremely helpful! I have already completed 2 swaps (newbie swap here, and another not on CO+K) and I'm signed up for another. I already love swapping so much, eventually I'll host one of my own!
