Felt food swap

First I wanted to see how many who wished to join and I`m so happy that all of you are in!
Please exuse me for my english, it`s not the best.

The send out date will be 7/5-2010. The fifth of july. I will wait some more days to see if there are any more people who wish to join in.
Do you guys wish to have 3 or 4 themes to choose from to narrow down the options? Come with suggestions so that we can choose from!

2: icecream
3. felt bonbons

I will later post the swap-partners so that you can contact them for their adress and choise of theme if we decide to go with a list of themes.

Ok. I've never done felt before, so I'm not sure if I'll be any good...but I think using some of your wonderful tutorials, I'll be able to make something. I'd love to learn, as felt projects seem to be so popular on here. So, if my partner doesn't mine getting something from a beginner, then I'll be in!

Do we have to do a theme? I want to go ahead and start making something today!

I don't mind shipping to another country, as long as you don't mind if I use the cheapest (longest time) shipping methods!

Well, we can always just ask our swap-partner if she wants a specific theme, or just be surprised.

Oh, since you were asking for suggestions of themes in a previous post...here's my idea. It's summer time, so what about a Bar-B-Q, grill out, lemonade, picnic type theme? I think that would be fun.

personally, I would rather there not be a theme because i don't like being restricted! I usually just ask my swap partner is there is anything that they DO NOT like and just go from there. just my 2 cents!

Oh, ok. If we don't have to do a theme, that's great! I kind of changed my mind about what I wanted to try and make anyways. I'm stuck between two different ideas.

I don't care what I get. I was thinking though, that my friend has a couple of kids who love to play with their "kitchen" so any food that would fit in with that would be fine. Otherwise, something safe for my baby to chew on. (he's teething) I hate to just put things on a shelf. I'd rather the kids get to have fun with them. (If my swapper doesn't mind her hard work being slobbered on) lol

Oh, I forgot to say, I'm so addicted to this idea now. I woke up this morning thinking about ways to make new foods that I've not seen tutorials on. I've never done a felt craft before (not like this anyway) and I think this may be my new obsession.

OK, I'm in, too. I'd like to be partnered with someone within the continental U.S., please! I've been learning as I go with felt food, and I have made quite a few pieces, for my 3 year old daughter. I'm sure she would think it was the coolest if a swap package came just for her!!
