Button Swap

I'm in need of plastic skeleton, skull, and bat buttons, and I can't find nice sets around here. I've already looked at Pat Catan's and Jo-Ann's and haven't found what I need.
The most I've found outside of grab bags are small sets that have 5 or 6 buttons, but only one of them is a skeleton or a skull, and I don't want to shell out $3 to have a bunch of buttons I don't like Happy

If anyone has a lot, or even a few, buttons that I'm looking for, I'd love to swap some of what I have for them.

I have a lot of themed buttons and scrapbook goodies I got out of grab bags... Halloween, new babies/baby showers, girly, and floral. I've got a ton of plain 2- and 4-hole buttons as well, in every color.

I can take pictures of what I have if anyone's interested in swapping with me. <3

Have you thought about making your own from polymer clay or shrink plastic? It's a thought if you get really stuck=)

Like Laurel said polymer clay is a good idea.

I did think of making them from shrink plastic, actually. I love shrink plastic, but I'm afraid that my images won't last long if I put them on garments I need to wash.
I'm awful with polymer clay, but I suppose I could get used to working with it if all else fails.

I've seen beads like that before, and plan on buying some white ones I've found elsewhere on the internet... but, I'm looking for buttons only right now =/

Thanks, though Happy

They also have clay molds on etsy for cheap. I can't make anything with clay with out them LOL! You just put the clay in the mold smooth it out, pop it out, put some holes in it with a toothpick, cook it, tada!

The mold is actually an awesome idea! I didn't think about that before. I actually have some flexible clay molding stuff around. I'd just have to find a few buttons I really like first Happy

With shrink plastic, you can seal your buttons with diamond glaze, they are pretty much bulletproof then. Also use black shrink plastic for bats that way you don't have to colour it.

There's black shrink plastic??
Around here, the selection is pretty limited, but I will have to look for it! I'll also have to find some diamond glaze.

Thanks for all the ideas, everyone!

Lucky Squirrel do black shrink plastic, I have a couple of sheets spare I could mail you if you wanted? I get diamond glaze online it's about €6/$7 for a 60ml bottle, it lasts for ages=)
